That's true. What really happens is this: - The dishwasher runs balls-out for 40 minutes so it's noisier. (Bosch sells a lot of units on its reputation of being ultra quiet) - Manual mode doesn't check the soil sensor while washing. - There is no drying cycle, which is the bulk of a two hour wash. So if you're okay with that, Manual works just fine for most everyday loads and is pretty much the equivalent of the old school DWs and how they worked. |
