A significant difference is that I can get around that range for a few grand, with an ICE. It’s disingenuous to omit initial battery/costs of ownership from these calculations. $/mile the actual metric (and that’s even difficult with the road tax evasion that EVs currently enjoy). I own an EV, and love it, but I also suspect it’s going right to the dump after the battery gives out. |
