I agree with "batteries included", if node.js and co etc. had a good harmonious ecosystem to begin with we wouldn't need such an approach. Looking at the way Apple does things, they own and control the hardware and OS which allows them to deeply optimise their systems and also provide an ease of mind knowing all their devices will work seamlessly across the board. Having an all-in-one toolkit reduces overhead of running around finding the perfect solutions, when it is already right in front of them. |
