As an American for the past 44 years my anecdotal experience has been the 3rd option you provided mixed with senseless war and death when someone is anti military. Growing up in republican midwest and living in CA later I haven't met someone who just goes "military bad bc political party and moral outrage". I think that is just a twitter thing |
