I like how it requires sending all the data up to the server, where I guess it gets discarded, returns a static HTML page that converts that same data on the client into a web page. Has the advantages of being centralized (site can be shut down, nuking all URLS) and decentralized (requires tech skills to set up, site cannot be updated without changing URL, etc.). Adding tinyurl to this as suggested in another comment takes it to the next level! |
