Yes[0]. Assume 2000 bytes (I believe chrome or safari only supports 2k bytes). RFC states 8000 bytes. Firefox supports 65k bytes.

Your citation says Chrome supports 32779 and Safari >64k. I think it’s fair to say that, as a
user
(disregarding potential search engine aspects), 8000-character URLs are 100% fine these days.
