Cars don’t have much physical activity. Walkable cities with public transit are amazing for staying fit. When I lived in New York City, I averaged 17,000 steps a day. New Yorkers joke about having to get “city fit” when you move there. |

17000 steps is what I did on my vacation in Lisbon, when I did A LOT of sightseeing. Can't imagine walking that much in my home city.
