Not following this logic, what happens if there aren't 100 parameters to measure per person for whatever is being studied?

This was mentioned for the proof of principle only. But nothing spectacular will happen, it may be necesssary to adjust statistical analysis to account for the variable number of parameters and to make appropriate comparisons if necessary.
