I'm hoping the pendulum swings back toward the middle of things. A huge push for centralization and subsidization was to ensure domestic food security. Famine or blight in one region? Overproduce a bit in another and ship it to those people. But somewhere along the way it flew way, way past that and created a huge opportunity for business profit. Excess production with subsidies... |
