I wish there were something I could do in AI alignment, I really do, but it's beyond me.

Luckily AI alignment isn't real and is just a modern millenarian religious movement, so there's no need to do anything.

("Aligning" meaning "making it work at all" is real, but then it's just a synonym for "engineering".)

I think there is something there, it's just maybe not in the Yudsphere. I spent a few months in grad school reading FATML papers, but that is obviously something very different.
