I don't believe that the article was celebrating Islamic culture as a whole. It looked at their residual food/architecture. I furthermore don't know that there is a monolithic Islamic culture. Kurdish culture is a heck of a lot different than Afghani culture. Europeans and Americans did plenty of slaving. It's almost like it's a human thing, not a religion thing. I think you need to touch grass, friend. Dehumanization of the infidels is what allowed Moors to enslave Europeans. Take care not to become their mirror image. |
