Since moving our dev environment onto remove VMs, laptop choice has become much easier. Battery isn't drained as much by tests/VMs/containers, RAM isn't as much of a concern, mac ARM vs x86 isn't an issue anymore. Used same pattern as slack - https://slack.engineering/remote-development-at-slack/ |
