Very interesting interview. If he's to be believed, Foxconn dropped the project because they didn't like that Evers won the election. Or, at least, that's what he implied.
Nilay jumps down his throat as soon as the conversation gets political. I wish the interview talked about specifics that caused the deal to fall through.
Because the end result of a 5% tax break for a real estate pump and dump isn't all that profitable.
Looks like just another great tax deal. Give me a few million and I'm not sure I'll temporarily hold real estate but I will hire a schmuck to count it.
