I can easily visualize a database with millions of records in an hour or so using a QTreeView, performance differences aren't even that big between C++ and Python. Then again, Qt has been around for almost 30 years to mature into what it is now. It seems to me that a lot of the GUI frameworks being used nowadays just didn't have the time to mature enough. |
