I love this, particularly its clear-eyed summary of some of the tradeoffs. Gonna be honest: build systems have completely robbed the joy from writing simple frontend hacks for me. I no longer use them, which means I just can't use a whole lot of Javascript frameworks and libaries. Oh well. |
