What a luddite argument! AI can show you previously unknown ways, often the pragmatic and idiomatic ways to solve problems. It can also explain code in depth. I don‘t know how I‘d have quickly mastered the shitty "drool syntax" I had the displeasure to work with today. No other tool allowed one to become fluent in a new language or framework this fast, ever before. Sounds the same like people who rejected IDEs. Or even syntax highlighting. Yes, those people existed and some might still rawdog xml and java in vi today. |
