How much runway do you have? If you have enough savings to survive without bringing a dime in for, say, 3 months, give it a shot. If things don't work out, you can always find another job.
3 months is light, I had a client not pay when I was using the 3 month rule and it was a bad situation. 6 is a better rule of thumb. I would not jump with at least 6 in the bank.
