Right now, what's most important to me is getting the permanent residency. I think many people are in the same situation. They made a goal of something (in my case immigration to the United States), and the meandering paths just falls off in terms of feasibility for such plans. I'm not against the article by any means, but I think for people like me, we already found what matters, and "meaning" or "fulfillment" is an extravagance in comparison.

Side note: this is very interesting but I felt like I've read this article before, maybe someone else already written about Todd Rose and Ogi Ogas?
