Cause they provide solution AWS does not ?
SingleStore is hybrid OLAP/OLTP AWS does not have one of those.
Neither does it have a proper horizontally scalable new SQL DBMS like CockroachDB.
Snowflake is way better than what you can get from AWS for OLAP.
