Last night, I had a crazy idea: What if I ported Fedora to the Wii? People ported Debian, Arch Linux, and Gentoo Linux to the Wii, why not Fedora? I named the project Fedorii, and planned to be based on Fedora 17, because 32 bit PowerPC support, and sort-of recent, despite being 21 releases away from 38, and released in 2012 - just a hair over a decade. Recent enough for a 17-year-old console. I'm currently gathering materials for the project: Wii-Linux kernel[1], Fedora 17 source code, and reading up on the Wii's internals[2][3].
