On the flip side, I did SS in my twenties (15 years ago) and, while doing a deadlift, my back popped and started hurting. I've had back pain since. I wouldn't recommend deadlifts. The worst part about it is that everyone always says "you didn't have proper form!" but, in that case, if you can follow all the advice in the program and still have bad form, it just sounds like a way to dismiss injuries as "your fault, not the program's". |
