Waiting for independent replication. Assuming it is proven true, this is unlike other attempts at crippling repairs from Apple as it's affecting behavior that is completely unrelated to the replaced module(the flash being implementable as a passive component). I wonder if the lawsuit against HP for disabling scanning when low on ink could set a precedent usable against this. |
