There are no features you should pay for on HN. --- Adding on to the discussion, I don't mind light mode in websites. HN is like a mid-2000's throwback website, there wasn't dark mode back then, but it's 2023, and people are used to dark mode. Why not give them what they want? |

If somebody made a good HN app for iPad, I’d pay $5 a month for it. Features I’d like would be actual good design (not just feature notes that say, “Stunning, clean, beautiful”) and the ability to block specific users, topics/keywords, and domains.
