Of all the google services for them to sunset Google Domains was not one I was not ready for, but lesson learned. I've been trying to decide where to move to since the announcement.

Name.com is my tried and true fall back, but dyndot is pretty appealing with their app which is something I've wanted from a registrar for awhile. Just wish they offered more domain TLDs.

So my plan is to use dynadot for domains they support, and Name.com for everything else.

It's a real shame. Personally avoiding Google services from now on.
