Commute from BK or Queens is still feasible, they are BIG boroughs so it differs on which part. Prices are lower but climbing, especially in neighborhoods very close to Manhattan. Bronx still has a high crime rate; depends on where. Tremont and Highbridge are pretty rough. Lots of the Bronx is still as safe or safer than, say, East Harlem (in Manhattan). |
