I agree with you. They are clear about what they ask of you and what they give you. I wouldn't accept, but people should be able to accept if they want.

It isn't clear what they give you. You know neither it's worth nor it's usefuless nor it's lifetime.

And I doubt that many people exactly know what they give and what happens to that data or what negative effects it could have if that data is stolen.

Otherwise people wouldn't fall for (crypto) scams.
