Absolutely. My lab is heavily involved in live cell imaging using automated microscopy. We add fluorescent reporters to proteins we're interested in and quantify them by way of the fluorescence intensity. I write analytical tools to help our grad students better analyze their data.
What aspects of computational bio interest you? I'm also interested in philosophy although I haven't actively pursued it in a while. What are you reading right now? |

Bored of writing traditional software, want to work on the applied science stuff. ex: like Large Haldron Collider, or genetics ,or sport biomechanics labs etc.
