I like the idea of Gemini, but having just a subset of the web's functionality is not enough. While it might not be a perfect analogy, many prefer using the terminal/shell/TUIs is because it is more powerful and efficient than the alternatives. And even though I appreciate Gemini, I wouldn't say that it is more powerful and efficient. Granted, that's not its goal either. |

Correct! Gemini is a mix between an art project and a political statement. It doesn't, and is not meant to, provide significant value over the web - a quick look at the specs makes this pretty clear.
If you view it through this lens instead, it's pretty neat, though.
