That's the actual idea if the GDPR. A service provider must provide its offerings regardless of the user accepting to be tracked or not. The provider is not even allowed to make it cumbersome to opt out. If Meta doesn't like it they're free to either be fined into oblivion or, alternatively, to just fuck off from the European market. The law in question is quite unambiguous. |
