It is perhaps a sign of how pervasive the assumption that a subscriber is an asset rather than a stakeholder that they have thought it is reasonable for a commercial communication service to claim copyright on private communications of their subscribers. Can you imagine the response to telephone company saying they can use your voicemail messages for their own purposes. |
