Still rocking my i7-950, air-cooled overclocked to almost 4 Ghz for the last 14 years without a single major hiccup. Bi-annual cleaning and a re-paste every 2-3 years has probably helped. It finally showed its age though about 2 years ago when some new games required new instruction sets and couldn't launch at all. A new build is finally in the works. |
