There is plenty doctors can do about it. We have a vast array of medications that address "the head", from anti-psychotics to Zanax. They're the one with the MD, they're the one with the ability to prescribe medication, not to mention TMS and other therapies. If someone had to get a limb amputated, we don't just throw them back out into the wild and say "have a good life!" We give them occupational therapists and caregivers to help them live their new life. |
