What are you growing? Coral and decorative fish farming for the hobby market can be profitable at smaller scales but it’s not going to pay tech wages. Think 50-100k no benefits vs your day job. Also it takes a long time to learn the ropes, fish lifecycle are long enough that you can’t iterate quickly. Like someone else suggested start small while working your other job and try to get a job in the industry. It will be a huge pay cut but you will earn a lot of knowledge. |
