If discovered, you could face a perjury charge which carries a risk of a fine or up to five years imprisonment (I think, that's federal law but this may only be perjury under California law.) Though, it's probably unlikely you get caught, and unless you're filing scores of forms it's unlikely they'd bother pressing charges. |
