The difference is that the iPhone is the bread and butter to Apple, where as Google's Android is treated as secondary.

Which seems like a massive liability for the company. Search engines seem like a much lower moat than mobile platforms these days.
They seem to be paying more attention to YouTube rather than the search engine.

What's more, Google is better at developing Android than it is as a search engine, that's why I started to pay for Kagi.
