I've read it. It's a good read, I was a bit worried that there would be a ton of score settling but Romero is apparently a relentlessly positive guy. It's a bit redundant if you have read Masters of Doom unless you are interested in his (pretty damn miserable) childhood or what he's been up to after Ion Storm crashed and burned.
Surprisingly good read. Not because I thought John is going to wash dirty laundry, but you know, they went through some emotional things. His story is truly inspiring though. Very engrossing.
I always recommend "the Masters of Doom". Probably mostly accurate. Perhaps a bit exaggerated at times. But definitely a great story, and well written.
Yeah I read that and enjoyed it thoroughly. I know Jordan Mechner's journals making Prince of Persia and Karateka are supposed to be great too if people are into this type of thing, I haven't read them though:
