Yes! That was exactly what I was thinking of! I love one of the comments - "But might this physical stretching then also allow room temperature superconductors, if not why not?" They were thinking of stretching at a macro scale (like bending a bar of stuff), rather than essentially "stretching" at the chemical scale which is what I understand they did here. Super cool! |
