To be honest, I'd say Beat Saber is the gold standard. Not the immersive metaworld thing that is so popular in fiction, but a real fun game that is not just about being VR. VRChat has, I think, a more limited demographic than Beat Saber, and it is probably not where the future of VR is. I mean, it is cool, and I think it is here to stay (or if it doesn't, it will be replaced by something similar), but like Second Life today, I don't think it has much room for growth. |
