this is slightly offtopic for this thread, but: if you're not an elite strength athlete, hitting 30 will not yet have overly negative effects. as an intermediate athlete you might still be able to improve well into your forties. even elite strength athletes used to hit their peak well into their mid- to late thirties (weightlifting) or even fourties (powerlifting, strongman). same with endurance athletes (in both cases that's not completely true anymore, the best are getting younger and they peak earlier). |
