| This is mainly as an exercise to explore some new technologies, but I also plan on taking up this idea seriously to build a full-fledged application that can be easily self-hosted and customised so organisations can spin up their own instance if they'd like. I have the current visions in mind: - To build a full-stack application using Remix, to adopt best practices and to allow the application to be easily self-hostable and customisable. - To be free and open-source, forever. - To be community-driven and open to suggestions from everyone. - To be accessible to everyone across the world, by supporting multiple languages. - To look great using clean, minimalistic design approaches.
- Some inspirations include: https://startup.jobs/ or https://wellfound.com/ - To be able to create a stable (versioned) open standard for job seeker profiles that can be imported and exported easily, ensuring that users don’t have to re-enter their personal information over and over again in other platforms, or other hosted instances of the application. I'm just trying to gauge public interest here, to see if anyone is building anything similar or to know if there's already something out there that I can take "inspiration" from. |
