Julia is fast, but the community is too small. I once had a bug which cannot modify the column in DataFrames.jl. No one response on SO, GitHub, just a bunch of devs who has the same problem as me. Dropped the project and switched to Python.
Rust is not a beginner friendly to create a high performance program, but somehow it became a cult and coding in Rust is some kind of flexing like finishing a Dark Soul game. There must be a reason why C, Python (and Erlang/Elixir) is popular. |
