This piece of news is more than 7 years old, and Ubisoft has previously confirmed that the only accounts that can get deleted are the ones with absolutely nothing in them. The writer for this article should have done additional research on this. Seems to me that it came up on Twitter
again and the writer took advantage of that to write an inflammatory article that's sure to get a bunch of views.
