Potentially irrelevant, but this sentence really tripped me up:

"Like others who ascribe to astrology, she is a firm believer that celestial objects have a direct effect on human life."

It's either supposed to be 'subscribe' or there's a whole word missing.

I'd add the earth to the list. Pretty sure it's a celestial object and it has "some" effect in human life ;)
