Does it work without their Cloud thing?

Edit, from the release notes: > In the last few months, we have ported and open-sourced all Netdata Cloud APIs to the Netdata Agent, allowing Netdata Parents to drive the same multi-node / infrastructure level dashboards Netdata Cloud provides! > So, as of today, Netdata Agents and Parents present the same UI, exactly the same dashboard, charts and features with Netdata Cloud!

I haven't tested this yet, but looks like that was all my biggest frustration with it

I do believe that the FE part is not open source but a custom licence.

So agent is still all open source but the FE code is not is my understanding.

Anyway not at all an expert here or anything but will try ping someone internally to explain it to me or jump in here to do a better job than me.

Yep, works for parents regardless of having a cloud account or not.

^ this is a demo node with 2 children, can see all the nodes easily now via the parent node dashboard.
