With the advancements in financial technology, I've been pondering why a universally adopted electronic data exchange platform for complex financial products like ABS, CLOs, and CDOs doesn't exist yet. Despite the obvious benefits such as improved transparency and efficiency, it seems that several challenges – including the complexity of these products, heavy regulation, data security concerns, market fragmentation, and potential resistance from major market players – could be hindering progress in this area. What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe we'll see such a platform in the future, or are the barriers insurmountable? |
