Advancements depend on the ability to change and often break the rules and to protest injustice. With no privacy there’s no civil disobedience and no advancement. Without privacy there’s no resistance to Putin’s regime, or to prohibition (of abortion, homosexuality, alcohol, drugs, …). Privacy is essential. |
