I remember him answering my questions about some intel i915 Xorg issues when I was running FreeBSD on my first notebook when I was a teenager.

The xhci stack he implemented was also a notable contribution I remember using early on.

I was always impressed by how much he could do and do well.

I am quite saddened by the lifetime that was stolen away from him and his family.
