What I noticed was the lack of motivation to study, and constant difficulty, eventually sapped the motivation to continue slogging through a degree and subsequent career just for the money. "I want to work in this field and make lots of money, but I hate it, and can't get through the coursework" is actually a pretty rare combination of talents. The path of being interested enough in a field that the easy work is easy, and the hard work is at least interesting, actually turns out to be the path of least resistance. |
