Hey everyone! I’m a European math engineering student, working on my thesis at USC in Los Angeles until December. I’ve got a 9-5 schedule during the week, but my weekends and nights are free. I’ve also got degrees in marketing and computer engineering, and during a six-month break between studies, I gained experience marketing products and building MVPs. What can I do to increase my chances of getting financed for a startup here in LA? I’m from a top-ish university in Europe and currently work at a research institute. I’ve already made some cool friends here, and there are also a lot of opportunities to meet new people. I love playing tennis and hitting the beach. I’m looking for info on tech and startup events. I think my professors’ network will probably be my best bet, but I’m excited to explore all the possibilities here and connect with people. Any advice? |
