$100,000k is a lot higher than you would get as a game programmer in most places outside of a handful of really hot markets (Seattle, Vancouver, SV, etc). Generally speaking expect a 30% pay cut compared to a non-games programmer (varying on what kind of games, zynga-style stuff is highly payed IIRC). |
